TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE & PURCHASE OF SERVICES
These Terms and Conditions apply to flights and services provided by Atlantsflug ehf. – Flightseeing.is.
CHECK-IN AND ARRIVAL
Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time stated on your ticket.
Passengers who arrive late may miss their flight. If you arrive after the scheduled departure time, your place on the tour cannot be guaranteed and no refund will be provided. No-shows are non-refundable.
PASSENGER AGE CATEGORIES
- An adult is a passenger aged 12 years or older.
- A child is a passenger aged 2–11 years.
- An infant is a child under 2 years of age.
Identification may be requested at check-in.
Age restrictions or other conditions may apply to individual tours and will be stated in the relevant product information.
PASSENGER WEIGHTS
Accurate passenger weights are required for safe flight planning and aircraft weight and balance calculations.
Due to operational weight restrictions on light aircraft, the number of passengers that can be carried may vary depending on passenger weights, aircraft type and other operational factors.
Passengers weighing more than 120 kg / 265 lbs. / 19 stone should contact us at info@flightseeing.is before booking. Additional seat allocation or other arrangements may be required depending on the aircraft and tour.
Please provide accurate passenger weights when requested. Inaccurate information may affect our ability to accommodate you safely on the scheduled flight.
DANGEROUS GOODS AND BAGGAGE
For safety reasons, Atlantsflug reserves the right to refuse the carriage of any item considered a risk to passengers, crew or aircraft.
Space and weight capacity for baggage and personal belongings are limited on our aircraft. Please contact us in advance if you need to bring unusually large or heavy items.
PRICES
All prices are stated in Icelandic króna (ISK) and include applicable taxes and VAT.
Prices may change without notice before a booking has been confirmed and paid. Once a booking has been confirmed, the price applicable to that booking will not change unless the customer requests a change to the booking.
MINIMUM PASSENGER REQUIREMENTS
Some shared flights are subject to a minimum number of passengers.
If the required minimum is not reached, Atlantsflug may offer an alternative departure time or date. If we are unable to provide a suitable alternative and cancel the flight, the amount paid will be refunded through the original payment method.
Minimum passenger requirements, where applicable, are stated in the information for the individual tour.
FLIGHT OPERATIONS AND CHANGES
All flights are subject to weather, aircraft availability, safety considerations and other operational conditions.
Atlantsflug reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a flight, change the aircraft, adjust the route, or change or omit a planned landing when reasonably necessary because of weather, safety or operational considerations, or circumstances beyond our control.
Routes, sightseeing locations and landing locations may therefore vary. Any landing is subject to suitable weather, surface conditions and the pilot's assessment at the time of the flight.
If Atlantsflug cancels a flight and no suitable alternative can be arranged, the amount paid will be refunded through the original payment method.
CANCELLATIONS BY THE CUSTOMER
Bookings may be cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure are non-refundable.
Cancellation requests must be sent to info@flightseeing.is and confirmed by Atlantsflug.
Late arrivals and no-shows are non-refundable.
LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Atlantsflug operates flights with safety as its primary consideration. Aviation and sightseeing flights are, however, subject to weather, airspace restrictions, aircraft availability and other circumstances that may affect the planned operation.
Atlantsflug is not responsible for losses or additional expenses resulting from delays, cancellations or changes caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe or unsuitable weather, natural events, volcanic activity, airspace restrictions, government action, industrial action, or unexpected technical or operational circumstances.
Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. Atlantsflug is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property except where liability arises under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Additional or special terms may apply to individual tours, private flights, charters, combined experiences or other services. Where applicable, these conditions will be provided as part of the relevant product or booking information and will form part of the booking terms.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions and the provision of services by Atlantsflug are governed by the laws of Iceland.
